The Ribeira da Granja is the largest watercourse that runs through the city of Porto. It is 6.5 kilometres long, 80% of which is piped. Its catchment area covers 26% of the city’s surface. It flows into the estuary of the River Douro. Some sections of its course have been renaturalised.
