Gondomar promotes environmental education for sustainability, with pedagogical objectives of raising environmental awareness. Through the Municipal Environmental Education Plan (PEA)the municipality provides activities to explore themes such as water, biodiversity, the forest, climate change, organic farming, healthy and sustainable food, the circular economy and animal protection, adapted to different age groups.
