The Asociación Medioambiental AMA El Pisuerga is a group of volunteers born out of love for our river as it passes through the capital of Valladolid, with a criterion that clearly respects the ecosystem of the Pisuerga.
It is a new generation with a lot of enthusiasm and experience to enhance the value of its banks, conserving its fauna and flora, carrying out clean-ups shared with volunteers, making its archaeological remains known, creating paths and spaces under the bridges, proposing river activities, training and information with specialists, bringing the river closer to those who want to discover it, carrying out research with technicians, diving, etc.
Bringing together people from many fields: sport, archaeology, culture, research, university, business, administrations, citizens, collectives, schools, biology, photography, architecture, etc.
In short, taking care of this green lung of the riverside forest that we are lucky enough to have just a stone’s throw from our homes.
