Águas do Porto is a municipal company responsible, among other matters, for managing the city’s rivers and streams. With this in mind, it works on the recovery and rehabilitation of these watercourses, with an increasing focus on nature-based solutions, and carries out awareness-raising and environmental education activities with regard to water and its management. They are responsible for the management and dynamisation of the Water Pavilion, an interactive space that explores the main concepts and applications of water.
Call to action
In the Water Pavillion the wide range of experiments demonstrates the importance of water for life, the different environments in which it is present, its various forms of use and its behavior in different situations, connecting scientific and technological issues in the area of water resources to the interests of ordinary people.
