The Plataforma Representativa Estatal de Personas con Discapacidad Física, is a state-wide social entity, declared of public utility, which represents and carries out programmes in favour of fifty thousand people with severe physical disabilities. Its mission is to promote equal opportunities, improve the quality of life and defend the interests of people with severe physical disabilities. For that, they design and provide training and employment actions aimed at achieving the social normalisation of people with disabilities. At the same time, the serve as a link between different associations to exchange information on their activities, and they work to make society aware of the problems of people with physical disabilites.
